Bourgas airport  - 10 km north from the city – second largest airport in the country
Varna airport – 140 km
Sofia airport – 370 km
Istanbul airport – 350 km

Bourgas airport (BOJ) is located 10 km north of the city. There are numerous flights from all over Europe flying to Bourgas, especially in summer.
•    International flights: WizzAir offers flights to London Luton airport, S7 to Moscow, Bulgaria Air and Bulgarian Air Charter to Tel Aviv.
•    Seasonal flights: During the summer season, from May until September, charter companies offer flights from UK, Ireland, Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Hungary, etc. to Bourgas. Check the Bourgas airport website to receive actual information on departing/arriving airlines operating this season.
•    Internal flights: Bulgaria Air offers every day flights to/from Sofia.

Bus No. 15 connects the airport with the city. The ticket costs BGN 1,00 (circa € 0,50) and the trip lasts about 20 - 30 minutes. This bus starts at the train station every 30 minutes from 06:00 to 23:00.

By Train
Regular international train lines travel from Bourgas to:

•    Moscow, Kiev
•    Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Kraków

The central train station is in the very heart of the city and next to bus station South, which is the main departure point to all small summer resorts and villages in the area like Nessebar, Pomorie, Sozopol, Sunny Beach etc. Tickets are sold in the train station building. By Bus
There are many buses from every city in the country to Bourgas. Most of the buses coming to the city arrive at the bus station South. There are also many buses coming from Turkey (Istanbul) and Greece.
•    Domestic bus lines: Every operating company has their own reservation system. Some of the companies that run bus lines to the city are Enturtrans, Union Ivkoni and Biomet
•    International: Eurolines runs regular international bus lines to/from Bourgas.

Freight information
There are regular container links both to the Port of Bourgas and the Port of Varna. The Port of Bourgas is the largest port in Bulgaria and one of the largest at the Black Sea. The Port of Varna is the second largest port in Bulgaria and is located 140 km. north from Bourgas.

There are many freight and flight carriers, operating at the Port/Airport of Bourgas and the Port/Airport of Varna.
